Tax the rich

Rich people in the USA want Americans to believe that poor people are the problem. Don't listen.  They don't want us to tax them. 💸

3D Printed Fidget Snake, 7 color options - Amanda Roos Art on Etsy

This has been one of my favorite things to print! It's a great fidget with very snake-like movements and good design. A commercial license to sell prints using this model was purchased from gesichtriegl on cults3d.com. Check it out on my Etsy shop .

Snowflake designs on Sun Art paper

This paper is so cool! You create a design to make shadows on the paper, I used paper snowflakes, then put it out in the sun. After a while you bring the paper in and rinse it off. Then when it dries you have a cool design!

170/1000 - Cute Pandas with Snowflakes. 1000 Pandas Art Project By Amanda Roos

170/1000 - Cute Pandas with Snowflakes 1000 Pandas Art Project By Amanda Roos  I can't believe I haven't designed a winter pattern yet! I've done pandas in scarfs, pandas in sweaters, but not pandas with snowflakes - until now! I actually designed this before fall had even started, but that's a good thing because it took me until now to finally post it...  It's available as blankets on Redbubble , wrapping paper on Zazzle , or fabric from Spoonflower .

3D printing bookmarks - they're like small paintings!

These kinds of prints are made with software called Hueforge. I downloaded this free model, but I might have to download Hueforge to try making my own sometime!

You deserve to feel safe being yourself.

Do it because it makes you happy.  Don't do it to try and "fit in".  You belong.  You are worthy.  Do what makes you happy.  I used to make decisions based on making other people happy.  It didn't work.  I was still a disappointment, plus I was unhappy.  Now I prioritize my own happiness. ☺️  It's hard to break out of being a people pleaser.  I think this is important to remember:  If you don't feel safe being yourself around them, you are better off without them.  You deserve to feel safe being yourself.

I 3D printed spirograph gears. 😁 Having fun making all sorts of rainbow shapes. 🌈

Gradient Painting

I wanted to practice color blending today, so I made a grid on my paper with masking tape and got out my tempura paint (the cheap kid paint you get at Walmart). Note for future self: remember to stick the tape to your shirt first next time so it doesn't rip the paper!

Working on a rainbow jellyfish. :)

I'm using this pattern,   https://www.savagelystitching.com/blogs/free-patterns/crochet-jellyfish-free-pattern   (thanks, Vanessa!), but with regular red heart yarn, a 4.0 mm hook, and legs that are only 16 stitches long.  These little guys crochet up so fast, I'm making a bunch in all different colors of yarn!

My keychains are now available on Amazon!

There were more steps than I expected to get this set up, but I'm excited for this next step for my craft business. Check it out: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D125BGZL/ref=twister_B0D12D3SHZ?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

Trip to Europe 2024

Steven and I got to go to Europe for two weeks. Our main stops were Amsterdam, Brussels, and London. The links in this post take you to videos that go along with the pictures. Amsterdam, Netherlands Flying to Amsterdam from Salt Lake City was over 9 hours and 5,000 miles. Phew. We took trains to get from Schipol Airport to our hotel. It took us a little while to figure out exactly how to get where we were going in our jet-lagged state, but after tapping in and tapping out a few times getting around anywhere in Amsterdam was so easy! Bikes - We loved seeing all the bikes. The Centraal Station bike parking lot was especially amazing with just how many bikes were there. Canal Tour - One of our first activities in Amsterdam was a canal tour. Definitely recommend! It was nice getting an overview of the city and its history. Bike tour - Our favorite part of the whole trip! We zipped along the fields around Amsterdam on electric bikes, saw windmills and electric pumps, and stopped at a fa...
